I have lived in the same house in Abbey Road for 33 years now after moving down from London.

 

I am currently semi-retired and am a Lay Member of the Employment Tribunals.  In order that I didn't become a hermit once I'd stopped working I've undertaken several computer courses and become more involved in our local community.

 

Last June (2004) I had a quadruple by-pass operation and after coming home from the hospital all, and I do mean all, my neighbours offered to do my shopping, cut my grass and help in anyway they could.  This is why I like living in Abbey Road.  With one or two notable exceptions all the people around me, including the children, are friendly and helpful.
